A county children’s charity has thanked a Northamptonshire web design company for giving them a new £2,000 site for free.

Irthlingborough-based Chelsea’s Angels has got a new 18-page website thanks to CRE8 Website Design, which has offices in Wellingborough and Northampton.

The gesture, which also includes an email account, a content management system, search engine optimisation and more, was made to celebrate the launch of the company’s new economical range of websites called ‘Rent a Website’, which offers high-quality sites from £25 a month.

Emma Knighton – co-founder of the charity formed in memory of her daughter who lost her brave battle with rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma in August 2009 aged just three – said: “We absolutely love the new website for our charity and are very grateful to Alex at CRE8 Website Design for offering her support of a fab new website and helping us with poster designs and printing.

“Michelle from our team designed our old website and we were unsure what to do as it was something we were very proud of designing with no experience. However, the moment we saw the new website we were amazed and loved it, it will give our charity a fresh new image.”

Alex Pailing, a director at CRE8 Website Design, said: “We like to support local causes and do our bit for the community. Chelsea’s Angels is an amazing charity, one which I’m extremely proud to be involved with.”
