Celebrations were in order at Lintbells in October, as the premium pet supplements manufacturer welcomed local dignitaries and its long-time supporters for the official presentation of its Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
This year, Lintbells was presented with the coveted award for International Trade for the first time in recognition of their success and dedication to global innovation and expansion. This follows receipt of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, which was given to Lintbells in 2016 for the development of the market leading joint supplement, YuMOVE.
To celebrate their success, Lintbells hosted an event at its head office in Hall’s Green, near Hitchin, and welcomed special guests including Robert Voss CBE, who is the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire and the official representative of Her Majesty the Queen. Also in attendance were loyal customers and suppliers who have been a part of the fantastic Lintbells journey through the years.
John Davies, Co-founder at Lintbells, discussed the secret source behind the brands continued success: “The high-class technology and impeccable management at Lintbells has no doubt been crucial to our success, but what has truly set us apart is our people. Every single person, from our customers, to our suppliers, to our staff, is incredibly passionate about our brand and truly understands the difference we make to people’s – and their pet’s – lives.”
Robert Voss CBE, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire said he was proud to have Lintbells as part of the Hertfordshire county and could only see the brand growing from strength to strength. “There’s a great big world out there, go get ‘em!”, he concluded.
John Howie, Co-founder and CEO at Lintbells, commented: “It’s incredibly humbling to be here accepting this award over a decade on after John and I started this business around our kitchen table back in 2006. Fast-forward to today we have just launched our products in the US and are looking to expand even further”.
The day concluded with a fantastic dog agility and training display courtesy of Paws in Hand.
The day was a celebration of Lintbells’ ethos to support the health and wellbeing of pets, build better relationships and most of all celebrate the people who made winning the award possible.
