A highly qualified care professional with over 30 years of experience in the NHS has opened a new care service in Hertfordshire.

Karen Carroll has opened the Hertfordshire branch of SureCare to bring high quality person-centred care and support services to the area.

She is joined in the business by Helen Roberts, who has a wealth of management experience and has worked for a successful European manufacturing and distribution company, and Kevin Isaac, the founder of a successful local financial planning and wealth management business.

Using their combined skills, Helen will manage the day-to-day running of the business working alongside Registered Manager Karen, who will be responsible for the quality of care services.

A number of people have already been taken on by the company and they will be looking to build their team in the near future.

Karen, who is combining her 30 years of experience in care with the NHS’s aim to deliver a home care service second to none, said: “I want to deliver care to our clients that truly makes a difference to their lives.

“We understand the family challenges that are present when having to face caring for a loved one as well as the loneliness that many living on their own feel. We make sure that our carers have the time that they need to not only fulfil our client’s care needs but also to be their lifeline to the world at a time when they may not be as mobile as they once were’

“Our focus will also be on providing a rewarding and fulfilling working environment for our dedicated team of carers and support staff. The carers are the face of our company and it is only through them that we can deliver the level of service that our clients expect so it is incredibly important that we recruit the very best and provide them with an environment in which they will thrive.”

Surecare Hertfordshire was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Alan Plancey with an afternoon tea in their Barnet office.

He said:  “It’s fantastic to see businesses launching that not only bring jobs to the area but provide services to the most vulnerable people. I wish SureCare Hertfordshire every success in their business.”
