New offices unveiled for expanding engineering consultancy

Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, Rolton Group, is this week celebrating the opening of its new offices in Peterborough’s Lynch Wood business district, to house its growing team. The new office was officially opened by Leader of Peterborough City Council, Councillor John Holdich OBE, at a VIP drinks reception on 15 November 2017.

The opening of the new Peterborough office marks the continued expansion of Rolton Group, which now has 81 employees across three Midlands offices. The company has achieved continued growth year on year, and has recently announced a 13% increase in annual turnover and multiple new client wins, including the UK’s fourth largest supermarket, Morrisons, as well as Nottingham Trent University.

To meet the demand, the business continues to train a future generation of engineers having taken on 12 graduates and three apprentices over the past year.

On Wednesday (15 November) evening, colleagues and clients were joined at Rolton Group’s new Peterborough location by Leader of Peterborough City Council, Councillor John Holdich OBE for the unveiling ceremony. The complete office refurbishment showcases some of Rolton Group’s energy expertise, featuring the latest energy saving technologies, including high efficiency LED lighting, complete with smart control and daylight dimming, and a heat recovery fresh air ventilation system.

Councillor John Holdich OBE said, “Peterborough has a long history of successful engineering firms so it’s fantastic to see Rolton Group continue to go from strength to strength.   Not only are they working with major household names on innovative engineering projects they are also investing in training up the next generation.   I wish the company and all of their staff the very best in their new home and to a bright future.”.
